BY VIRTUE OF POWERS vested in me, I, SIR ANDREW
CALDECOTT, Knight Bachelor, Companion of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George,
Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British
Empire, Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony
of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of
the same, do by these presents appoint you STANLEY HUDSON
DODWELL provisionally, and subject to His Majesty 's
pleasure, to be temporarily during the absence of the
Honourable Sir H. E. Pollock, Kt., K.C., LL.D., an
Unofficial Member of the Executive Council in the place
of Mr. W.H. Bell resigned.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony, at Government House, Victoria, Hong Kong, this
31st day of October, 1936.
